What are the requirements of the cemetery?
Every cemetery has their own rules and regulations regarding memorials,
usually this is because they want to maintain a consistent aesthetic look
to the cemetery. Also, it may be do to state, city, or county codes and
laws. The cemetery may require a marker/headstone to be specific dimensions,
a specific stone color, or a specific style.
Do I need to contact the cemetery?
No, when you place your order, we will get the cemetery name, address,
and phone number from you to get their approval on the memorial (cemetery
marker, headstone, mausoleum, columbarium, bench, statue) you wish to
purchase.
Why does the cemetery make me feel like I can only purchase a memorial
from them?
It's not uncommon for cemeteries to use high pressure tactics to persuade
you from purchasing from an outside company. They want you to purchase
your memorial from them so they can make a big profit. According to Federal
Trade Commission (FTC) regulations, it is illegal for the cemetery to
force you to purchase a memorial from them. If the cemetery is doing this
you can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Can the cemetery refuse the marker or headstone I order from Clear
Stream Monuments?
No. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires the cemetery to accept
the cemetery marker or headstone even if you purchase it from someone
other than them. Plus, we confirm that the cemetery marker or headstone
fits within the rules and restrictions of the cemetery before we begin production of your memorial.
Will the cemetery install the cemetery marker or headstone even if
I do not buy it from them?
Per the regulations of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) if the cemetery
has installation services available to families who purchase a marker
from them, they also have to allow you those same services. In some cases
monument installation service is included with the purchase of the gravesite..
check the contract you were given when you purchased the cemetery plot.
If the cemetery does not have the capability to do the installation (as
is the case with smaller cemeteries), we can help locate a company that
will do the installation.
Can I install the marker/headstone myself?
We recommend having the cemetery marker or headstone installed by an experienced
professional or by the cemetery. Check with the cemetery to see if installation
of the cemetery marker or headstone was included with the purchase of
the gravesite, in some cases it is included.
Do you have a catalog or brochure of your memorials?
No. The styles and designs of the memorials we offer are constantly changing
and new designs are always being added. It would be virtually impossible
to keep a printed catalog up to date, therefore we don't have a catalog.
This saves us money which allows us to offer our monuments to you at very
reasonable prices.
Can I order a custom headstone?
Yes. Please provide us with details of the size, stone type, color, engraving,
etc. If you have sketches, photos, or a production-ready image files,
please email that to us too at: Service@ClearStreamMonuments.com and we
will provide you with a quote.
Where and when will my memorial be delivered?
In most cases we will ship directly to the cemetery (unless otherwise
specified by you). Someone will have to inspect and sign for the delivery. We can
not deliver to unattended cemeteries which may be the situation with rural
and church cemeteries. It will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks (for instock items) from the
time the order is placed to the time the memorial is delivered. Custom
headstones may take additional time depending on the amount of customization
involved. NOTE: Memorials can only be shipped to a commercial address
that has the capability to take delivery of a heavy pallet size container.
What information will I need to provide to place an order with Clear
Stream Monuments?
You will need to provide your name, billing address, phone number, and
email address. You will also need to provide the cemetery's name, address,
and phone number. Then, we will need to know the specific details for
the monument you are ordering: design, granite color, name, dates, and
any other inscription or design elements you would like on the monument.
We will than contact the cemetery to get their approval on the monument
you ordered.
What are my payment options?

order, or wire transfer please contact us for instructions or call Customer
